BOARD MEETING this Tuesday, Sept. 12th - 8 AM at the Police Station
WSG West Side Grill standing room only ! Chicken a-plenty. It is most apparent that
our club has grown...even over the last two months. We Sure Grew! Who knew !
Jeff Dale introduced our guest speakers from Marlboro Hospital. COO Candra
Sczymanski and Paul Riggiere, Mgr. of the Diagnostic Imaging Center. Accompanying
them was Linda Dodge from Marlboro Hospital who is also a Marlboro Rotarian.
Their pride in the new center was apparent as they described the benefits now available
with the conversion to digital radiography. The center is three times larger than the
former imaging center. Now X-ray images are electronically sent to a computer monitor
for immediate analysis and the PAC System, picture archival and communications,
allows images to be transmitted via a secure internet connection. It is state of the art.
Ms Sczymanski emphasized the focus was on quality, safety, privacy, satisfaction for
staff as well as patients. The care you want. Closer than you thought.
Back with us was Cynthia Maybeck after her well-deserved sabatical. Slides ?
We did sing to Gary Cooper...for the 9th. If anyone else has a September birthday, please
let me know.
APPLEFEST UPDATE: Still some booth spaces available. Ken Golden asked for
helpers in the early morning to help the vendors set up.
The sign-up boards went around again for our areas of involvement. I saw basket
materials being gathered for the raffle table. It is almost here...
With that thought in mind, President Mark has re-scheduled the Board Meeting to this
next Tuesday, Sept. 12th in lieu of the 19th.
The next guest speaker will be Patty Sevaies ...something about VA aid.
Don’t forget Bandy-Heffler group arriving Sept. 26...the gangs all here at Mottle’s the
30th for a welcome bash.
Did you mark October 10th for the District Governor coming to call ?
NORTHBOROUGHROTARY.ORG Check it out people. Check it out !
Were we talking about electronics ? Then you know the favorite song of those engineers.
“ohm, ohm on the range”.
No, no, that’s okay...I don’t need help !
