Cyndy Morin and Lois Kirk are co-executive Directors of NEDP, Northboro
Extended Day Program for Family & Youth Services, INC. Since 1987 NEDP,
including FUNCARE;, the separate kindergarten component;, have made possible
after school programs in the four elementary schools in Northboro. The programs
serve 220 children every school day. Most recently, in answer to expressed needs in
the community, there are before school programs in two of the schools.
Thanks to Skip’s follow-through and Rotary’s Simplified Grant program, NEDP
is receiving $2000 from our District. The co-Directors were most grateful for
the program and said that this allows new cabinets and fun parachutes which otherwise
would have perhaps lessened potential scholarship monies for some children.
Is to feel good.
