WE WILL MEET IN THE “FRONT ROOM” for lunch
We got to know Steve Georgeson a little better as he described some of his adventures on
the way to becoming Pastor of Rice Memorial Baptist Church.
Growing up in Clinton, Steve wanted to be a policeman and criminal justice trained to
became a security officer. Segue to Texas and the Airforce where Steve was a
linguist and as a reserve officer he then became part of a top secret staff that was ‘involved
all over the world. Steve has been a computer support person for the past 18 years
with MITRE and two years ago he felt he was called to Ministry having been a Church
Deacon in his church. When they were looking for a new Pastor they chose Steve.
Steve hopes to be a full time Pastor in January and will be attending Seminary classes.
Steve is also “in training” as Rotary President in the wings after Ron and Adam Winter.

HOLIDAY PARTY December 16, Sunday, is the date decided on..yes ? Will be a
pot luck at Adam and Lynn Winters house. A sign up sheet went around so they will
know what we are bringing to compliment the brisket and ham and latkes. Potato
peelers wanted...where, when.?

SPEAKER on this Tuesday will be Annette Wolf, now an exec at St.Gobain. Originally
from a farm in Mozambique who will share the story of her flight from her country.
December speaker persons are Jean Bianchi and Cheryl Owoc. Remember that the
club assembly is now the SECOND Tuesday so you have the 4th and l8th. (Thank you
George for sharing that info. )
