Northborough Rotary welcomed as guests to our meeting Paul Gallagher of Westborough Rotary, his good friend Tom, Paul Vaillette, a local CPA who's office is at 386 W Main Street and Frank Dubois of the Worcester Club.  Welcome back to Frank and we hope that Paul joins Northborough Rotary.

AppleFest was first on the agenda;  Adam Winter is taking care of the food that the club will serve, Michelle Gillespie is coordinating parade participation and club Prez Ron Goodenow is looking for volunteers for the Information Booth (where we scare away all those under 40).  Mark Lessner immediately volunteered for the role and then volunteered Jim Brady to assist.  Second, the club needs volunteers for the raffle being held.  What is being raffled, how and where it all happens remains a mystery, but for those that know the Raffle of AppleFest as old hat, all shall be revealed in time.  Someone said that to me once at a Grateful Dead concert and it freaked me out...

On August 7, 2007 at 6:30pm The Westborough DoubleTree is hosting our District Membership Seminar.  The cost is $30 per person and includes free drinks.  Of water.  The club may or may not pick up the tab for attendance.

Participation for our clubs committee's and projects is being encouraged and out of the seven committee's discussed, we have participation from a wide range of members.  Great job Northborough Rotary!

Cheryl Rosen mentioned in the meeting how and where we can login to create an account via the district website in order to update/edit our personal information.  Now this is wicked, wicked important so please pay attention, especially Jean and Paul Bianchi.
