Our Scholarship Awards luncheon never fails to be a pleasure. Listening to the plans of the young people brings a smile of encouragement from each of us and smiles of pride from each parent with them. Receiving their checks were Erin Kearney, LeAnn Taggart, Stephen Quinn. Lisa Pugsley and Daniel Auger...each with a parent. Poised and articulate and bright. Makes every pancake, sausage and coffee well worth it. The picture you received from Ron Goodenow says it all. I think I saw Sue Darling enjoying the sharing as well.
For now, as last week, a few reminders:
Tuesday, June 19 is Club Assembly, AND SENIOR PICNIC at Marlboro Fish & Game. The grill gets fired up at 3 and from then on all hands on board, The meal is served right at 5. It is over at 7 and cleaning up is part of our "service", too.
BOARD MEETING is on THURSDAY, June 21st at 8 am at the Police Station.
June 22-23 is RYLA week-end. Be there if you can. Check with Barbara and/or Ed.
June 26 the speaker will be Roy Lucas from SURGE.
JUNE 29, FRIDAY is the INSTALLATION of our NEW CLUB PRESIDENT
Namely, Ron Goodenow. At Juniper Hill Golf Club - $20 per. Always special.
Speaker getters for July are Prudence Bean and George Pember.
On deck for August are Bruce Bender, Renee McCue-Hall and Cheryl Rosen.
