Club Assembly and feedback from the Board Meeting.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST wrap-up assures us that we can give scholarships to potentially eight students. The placemat ads came in higher than last year. If you have any name on your list that you know to be non-participatory, let Jean Bianchi know so she can remove same from the list for next year. It was suggested that the donation for the music makers go to the Melican Middle School care of Brent Ferguson.
On Wednesday March 28th, some club members are accompanying Ron Goodenow to the Westboro Club meeting at the Naked Fish. 12 noon. $15. Let him know if one of them is you...not a naked fish...but an attendee !
ANTIQUE APPRAISAL event is coming up quick. Pat Doyle has tickets available. It is important to advise her as you sell them as the items are limited. Stuart Whitehurst from the Skinner Gallery and Antique Road Show is the appraiser expert/educator/entertainer. This will be at St. Rose of Lime Church on April 10th from 7 to 9:30 pm.
DISTRICT ASSEMBLY is Saturday, April 14 from 8 am to 2 pm with breakfast and lunch and good Rotary stuff and it is free. Doubletree. We might get points as well.
LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE is March 31st in Lincoln, R.I. Check the Kings for info.
GSE TEAM members are arriving from Egypt on the 23rd for a month. 5 beds are needed for two days within that month for us to host them.
JUNE is very near. Oh, yes ! That means RYLA June 22nd. If you know of a high school sophmore who would benefit from this exciting youth leadership week-end, guide them to the Guidance office at ARHS for an application or they can download from the NorthboroughRotary.org website. We are sponsoring three students.
INSTALLATION OF NEW CLUB PRESIDENT will be June 28 or 29. Will advise.
PETS, President Elect Training Seminar, made a disc available of the power point presentations. Ron Goodenow has one and will share.
