At Rotary lunch on January 22nd we were treated to a gastronomical GSE tour
of pubs in Bath, UK. There were a few pics of some flowers, Stones, statues,
one or two English Rotarians ...and...a review of fish and chips. For over 20 years
the Bandey Hefler Rotarian Swap Meet has taken place creating lasting friendships
between the “swap-ees”. Our own Bruce Bender has created a new bench mark
for experiencing local ambience at a gut level. Ten different samples of fish and
chips fourteen days. How to go, Bruce. The slides were great, the trip met the
expectations of being welcomed into the homes of fellow Rotarians and the wonder
of being on incredible, historic sites is to be envied. In two years perhaps another
one of our club members will be able to be part of the exchange. Thanks, Bruce.
A meaningful and fun presentation.
