Club Assembly.
President Mark read a note of appreciation from Cindi Catino’s mother for our
donation in Cindi’s name to the Dana Faber Cancer Institute.
The Friends of the Northboro Free Library sent a note of thanks.
Pancake Breakfast ad packets were handed out with the request that one keep in mind the
time frame between now and March 11. As soon as you have ad confirmation you
can advise co-chair, Gary Cooper, electronically at Pancake@NorthboroughRotary.org
Remember we are setting up on Friday evening which will save us the custodian fee
were it to be Saturday.
Co-Chair, Adam Winter also reminded us that baskets are a “go”. Gather your goods and
while you are at it remember gift certificates as a possibility...you never know unless you
ask. Collections may be dropped off at the Photography barn.
;Mighty Man, Adam Winter, has confirmed that the Corridor 9 Chamber of Commerce
will grant the Club a membership. The Board approved the appropriate fee. The
Chamber meets two times a month...breakfast and dinner meetings.
Treasurer, Jean Bianchi, declared the final, cleared $ figure from the Community Spelling
BEE to be $5716. $2000 was approved by the Board for our Emergency Oil Program
through Northboro Oil Co. Sandra Maney Farrell will be at lunch to accept the check.
The BEE Committee will make further recommendations as to community dispursement
of the money.
Our speaker on Tuesday, January 23 will be our outbound Ambassadorial Scholar,
Matylda Tomaszczyk and her colleague, Dr. Cheryl McCallion talking about their project
in Haiti.
